What a surprise to check my email last night and find a wonderful gift from DigiScrapalicious! She RAK'd me with this wonderful kit - Botanically Yours - that she just put in the shop at Faith Sisters. Crystal (DigiScrapalicious) just celebrated a birthday so HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CRYSTAL! I hope it was a great day for you and that all your wishes come true.
So I am in LOVE with BOTANICALLY YOURS. This kit is so adorable and has great elements which were so fun... I wanted to put them ALL in my layout. Here is what I created with it! I LOVE it when a layout just goes together easy peasy... In my opinion, that is a sign of a well designed kit! So THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU, DigiScrapalicious. Wednesday was the Speed Scrap at ScrapMatters and we had a GREAT one! Here is the layout I created... we had to use monochromatic colors with some non-colors. The story behind this pic is I found it on my camera the other day... along with about 20 of the dogs from very low levels (near the ground). Dylan, my 3 year old, must of been playing with it! Crazy what our kids know how to use nowadays.... my iPhone is never safe from them.

Erika - I am so glad you and the baby are feeling better! This kit has great colors which can be used for many non-Valentine layouts. Here is the layout I made with this kit last night. I love how it turned out, even though the photo is not the best quality. Isn't funny how much better our cameras are now, versus 9 years ago? The pic was taken of me and DH arriving in Hawaii for our honeymoon... and yes, we are wearing bride and groom ball caps. Those were from his mom (and I still have them)!

The word art in the bottom left hand corner is from Elegant Word Art by Bethany. Make sure you stop by her blog for a free word art every day... as well as a great laugh and reminder that life is just life. Bethany impresses me with her calm demeanor and ability to laugh when all is going wrong.

Isn't this the most adorable kit?? I love all the real life elements... like the leather couch (which you can't see in the preview) and the clouds. Chriscraps always has precious kits and I am a big blog follower of hers. You should check out her blog also. She occasionally has add-ons, full kits or CU freebies. She sells at Digital-Crea and ScrapMalin, both are excellent shops.
Here is the layout I made today with this cute kit. There were so many possibilities but the bears that are in the kit gave me an idea of what to scrap. My son was so excited to bring Kinderbear home for his first sleepover. Ryan even made Kinderbear a "bus" bed out of a paperbox. I extracted his Kinderbear for this layout.

Today I received an email from one of my FAVORITE designers - Chris Greiser. She sells over Divine Digital and if you haven't been to that shop - you NEED to go. She is currently in the Sunshine Studios designer competition and based on all her kits - and if I were the judge - she would definitely be the winner! So my beautiful RAK is her final round kit! Today (or yesterday) was my lucky day. I was one of three random winners of a great kit from Trish H. Designs - Spooky. I can't wait to play with this kit!
